Introduction

Welcome to my blog, this is a forum that I have set up for the discourse of fine art and all art based topics. I am willing to discuss just about anything, however, let's try and keep it based on visual art, music, film, and literature. I welcome any comments good or bad, although I will be very selective as to which I will respond to. So please try to avoid any unnecessary negativity if you actually want a response.

  1. I enjoyed how your website design changed the top image to a picture of the artist that was being featured. Your first two images were great representations of the topic of shadows, however, I see that the images were more in the concentration of light refraction or something else entirely. I do think that those later images were what related most to your own work. I think the part of your artist statement that holds true to your work is that the works focus on the use of light…

  2. The use of quotes on each page was a good addition. It makes the art seem more personal when including words to help aid the artistic response. Seeing these included is a nice change of pace. Nice choice. Also, I think you did well explaining you project and setting up your own art, it helps give the audience a background with your art and what you are working with and how you connect to the inspiration artists.

  3. The top image of each individual artist page is a very good design and informs the viewer immediately about basic facts on that specific artist. I think the pull out points that you chose for each artist is displayed clearly and easy for the viewer to see.

  4. I really enjoyed the top image of each page of your exhibition. The first image draws your attention right away and then the artists on each only adds that much more of a connection between the piece and the viewer. I like that each image uses a different technique involving the subject of shadow. It gives a feeling of connection from things that look completely different.
